Was told it was against their company policy and to come back and bring a water sample to them before she would sell me a fish. I have bought fish before from numerous places including this one. But this manager and employee obviously had a power trip issue.OH might add their tanks were completely full of dead fish clogging the water inlets to the filters.

They refused to sell a $7 goldfish because I could not show “proof” that my tank had been setup for at least 32 hours- which also changed from what they told my husband was proof of 5 days. They are liars and try to push this off on “Petco’s policy” , which was confirmed by corporate to be inaccurate. Do better petco! These two women need new jobs. Their customer service and “knowledge” suck.

- JRJonathan RamnathDec 22, 20251.0This place will sell you an expensive parrot easily no problem with clear trauma and doesn’t get along well with people or its handler… I’m officially 5 days passed my return policing and I hate to be the one to forfeit an animal like this but clearly haven’t had the bird long enough until you as an owner start seeing signs yourself about its temperament etc. all I asked was to exchange the bird for another as this one doesn’t seem to be taking well to its new environment… no help with management at all. They’ll surely take money from you -5 stars
