Don’t get me wrong, Dr Chan is amazing. But that’s it. My cat has to take several meds, and it’s a nightmare to get the prescription filled with this vet. I don’t know if they are understaff or if it’s an organization issue, but they keep loosing the prescriptions, and I usually have to call them several times and wait a week to get them to only approve the meds. The limited hours they are open doesn’t help either. Bottom line: if your pet doesn’t have any issues, you’re all good. Otherwise, find another vet.

Closed on weekends, closed on Monday, I mean when are you open? No sign at the doors, nothing. And it was unlocked, so I was waiting for 10-15 minutes. So finally someone from the store saw me and told me that they are not working today.

Imagine taking your dog to the vet, they injure him, then you have to pay for the visit. That’s the service you get at Vetco. I brought my dog in for an injured dewclaw, we discuss, they take him to the back. I hear him howling and they bring him back to me bleeding with a trail of blood all over the floor. They literally injured another dewclaw and brought him back as if nothing happened. Not only did the vet not apologize, she had the audacity to defend what they did and found a way to blame me for the bleeding. Never coming back here again. Worth noting, the good reviews here are all related to Dr. Anna Chan, who was my provider dating back to her time in private practice. As of two months ago she is no longer here.

Now that Dr. Chan has left (which was not communicated with me at all before I scheduled multiple recent appointments), I would not recommend going here. I took my cat in twice over the past two months for urinary issues. I was told they couldn't pull urine both times and given an incorrect diagnosis as well unclear treatment plans. I just took her to a different vet who immediately took x-rays (never even suggested by the relief vet at Vetco) so they could very quickly see the issue was bladder stones (never even discussed at Vetco). They also pulled the urinalysis very quickly and said she was extremely cooperative and they weren't sure why the other practice had struggled so much. I feel for the staff at Vetco who have always been very kind and helpful, but I'm very disappointed by the experience I had with the relief vet. I wasted hundreds of dollars on incorrect diagnoses and treatment plans and my poor cat has been in preventable pain for almost two months.

This last visit was not a pleasant one. My dog was screeching in pain, and you would think they would stop whatever they’re doing because it’s obviously causing distress to my dog. They kept going until I interrupted and told them to stop. I don’t care what you’re doing you SHOULD stop when a dog is showing that much discomfort and pain. My dog has a tough time already going to the vet and has to be medicated so just imagine what he was feeling when nobody stopped. That was my last time taking him to this location.
