  Horrible service. They didn’t bathe her nor cut her hair properly. They left nots and tangles in my dogs hair. I payed 80$ just for them to not do ANYTHING to my dog. I payed extra money for them to untangle my dogs hair, to shower her, and to cut her nails, they didn’t do ANY of this properly.I had to wait 4 hours. Never coming back. I would’ve left 0 stars if I could.

  Because of incompetent staff, companies lose loyal customers. And this is exactly what happened to us at Petco Grooming. For over 3 years, we have been loyal grooming clients of Petco across different states in the U.S., and the service was always excellent. My dog is 8 years old, very friendly, not aggressive, and has never had behavioral issues at grooming appointments. Today, we were refused service by groomer Avery simply because my dog was “excited.” Not aggressive. Not dangerous. Just excited — like most dogs are when separated from their owners. I arrived for a scheduled appointment, only two days postpartum, which I clearly explained to her. I was counting on the service I booked and paid well for. We always choose the full grooming package and leave generous tips. Instead, I was met with rudeness and a condescending attitude. She repeatedly stated she would not change her decision “no matter what.” She also said she was working alone and felt uncomfortable handling an excited dog. If a groomer cannot handle normal canine behavior, especially from a friendly 8-year-old dog with a perfect grooming history, that raises serious concerns about their professionalism. This is not about my dog. This is about an employee who clearly lacks both animal-handling skills and basic customer service skills. Because of one unprofessional individual, I will never return to Petco for any services. If a company does not ensure professional, competent staff, I will gladly take my business to places that truly care about animals and their owners. After reading other reviews, I can see I am not the only customer who has experienced emotional distress from staff at this grooming location. Extremely disappointing

  This was our pups first visit (he’s about six months old and had tons of puppy energy) Zed was great and undoubtedly patient. She greeted us with a smile and assured the best care.
