- MTMagan TylerApr 8, 20262.0I booked a $25 promotional visit online and selected a specific appointment time (1:30pm). At no point during booking was it communicated that the appointment required confirmation to be honored. I received one phone call at 3pm the day before stating that since I hadn’t confirmed, my appointment had been moved to an “unconfirmed” status and I would be treated as a walk-in. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the message in time to return the call. I still arrived on time for my originally scheduled appointment, but was told I would need to wait approximately 45 minutes as a walk-in. I understand the need to manage no-shows, especially with promotional pricing. However, the current system ends up penalizing clients who book properly and show up on time. A clearer confirmation process (text/email confirmation, or communicating upfront that confirmation is required to hold the appointment) would go a long way in preventing this situation. They could have also called when I booked the appointment as well. As it stands, the process feels disorganized and doesn’t respect clients’ time. I ultimately chose to leave due to the wait.
- LPLEANNE PUGHApr 7, 20265.0First benefit, they are the closest to my house. Front desk is great in person and on the phone. Vets don't look for things to charge more for. Came from VCA which has it's benefits. NAVC has all those benefits with a homier feel and lower cost.
- GGGray GintherApr 3, 20265.0I brought my newly adopted adult dog for her first visit with the vet. She is known to be leash reactive and aggressive around men. The doctor and staff at Northwest Austin Veterinary Center were very patient & understanding with our doggie and helped her to have a very calm and stress-free visit. She got her exam and vaccines without any problems and we were on our way home. NAVC has always given our dogs great care, glad they are close by.
