Do not go here if you don’t care if they don’t listen to your pet’s health issues. I’m really disappointed with how this clinic has handled my pet’s care. Every visit feels rushed, and it’s clear the staff is stretched thin. I understand the vet is likely overworked and underpaid, but basic communication and follow-through shouldn’t be optional. I called once for my cat’s UTI results. First they told me there were no crystals, then after checking again, suddenly there were “microscopic crystals.” That shift doesn’t inspire confidence and makes me feel like the results weren’t reviewed carefully the first time. They also performed an ultrasound while I was there, and no one explained the findings afterward. I had to follow up myself and ask if anything showed up in the ultrasound. They actually had to “check and see,” which tells me they forgot to review it altogether. That should never happen. Communicating results is the most basic part of their job, and the lack of care is obvious. The exam itself lasted under five minutes, and the vet walked out before I could ask my questions. After the visit, my pet developed sneezing and congestion, and when I called, they told me I’d have to come back and pay for another exam. It left me feeling like the priority here is money, not care. I’m still waiting for a callback from the vet, which says a lot. If you truly care about your pet, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Corporate should be embarrassed by how little support and attention they’re giving to both their staff and their patients.

We took Poppy, our 5 month old kitten to this vet. They treated her so well and gave us sound advice. Dr. Chan and the other people that work here truly care about your babies so I would highly recommend them. They even gave her some delicious treats to make her visit more enjoyable:) The exam for her was $90 which is very affordable for me which I appreciate.

We got to see our vet the same day we called. Service was professional and thorough. It’s nice to have the resources available that our cat needed, including food and medication.

AWFUL. We came in with a serious injury for our dog and the team taking care of our dog was unprofessional, frantic and chaotic. To make matters worse, when they referred us to an emergency clinic, they completely failed to send over critical information, no X-rays, no blood test results, nothing. Do not recommend.

We showed up to have a cyst on my dog’s back examined and drained/removed to avoid infection. We drove across Austin, as our usual Vetco location didn’t have any openings. The appointment was cancelled on us with no advance warning. While being told that the appointment was cancelled due to their payment system being down the ungloved person at the front desk opened the cyst on my dog’s back. The system being down is outside of anyone’s control, but not telling people ahead of time is. My dog was bleeding and we were told there was nothing they could do and downplayed our concerns before sending us home… unless we bought giftcards to pay for the appointment because their system was down… with no quote for the cost. I then had to ask for bandages to cover the bleeding cyst as there was no offer. Only after major push back did they offer to examine the now open wound on my dog’s back. But moments before that wasn’t an option? We chose to leave. The whole experience was so uncomfortable compared to our usual Vetco. After leaving to reschedule for tomorrow at our usual Vetco location, the vet met us outside in front of the store (an active construction zone) to address the now bleeding cyst on my dog’s back. She used something to stop the bleeding and was nice, but too little too late. We drove across Austin to have a very uncomfortable experience with no solutions. UPDATE: I received a voicemail from Gwen on 7/24/25 stating our next visit to the south location would be comped and we wouldn’t pay. I just left the south location and had to pay in full. Par for the course.
