Two ladies were there and I was trying to explain to the lady at the desk that my dog will probably try to jump off the table and has anxiety. just the way her responses were so dry should have been foreshadowing- it felt like she wasn’t listening and wasn’t even a pet person. When she came to put the collar on my dog started to hide behind me and let out a little growl. I was trying to explain that it’s because she came near me and that I need to step away but she immediately said she didn’t want to do it because of her pregnancy (which that I completely understand). But you have two employees there and dog groomers should be well versed in dealing with dogs that have anxiety with grooming as it’s extremely common. I have NEVER had this problem at any pet supplies plus that I’ve been to and every groomer has clearly been trained with approaching nervous dogs and have had zero issues (aside from my dog trying to jump ship to get back to me). I did not like the way she talked down to me or my dog and I will take HER advice and keep my business with petsuppliesplus. 🤷🏼♀️ they have better deals on toys and treats anyway. Clearly my dog was giving me a sign and I see most of the other negative reviews talk about the people there being rude.
