The grooming associate with glasses was sitting immediately to the left of the entrance, clearly saw me walk in, and did not acknowledge me or offer any help. Because I had never been to this location before, I didn’t know where to check in for grooming. I walked around the store trying to figure it out before going back to the cashier, who directed me back to the groomer. When I approached her, she again did not greet me or seem like she wanted to assist me. I had also adopted a different pet the day before and was told by the shelter to ask Petco for a new adopter packet with coupons. When I asked the groomer, she said "don't know anything about that and can't help you". The cashier initially said "I dont know about that", but at least took the initiative to call the manager, and I was eventually able to get the packet. Had the groomer acknowledged me when I first walked in, this entire situation could have been avoided. Very unwelcoming and negative experience.
