Margaret and Rebeka were super helpful and nice. Dr. Mayberry was kind and thorough with our cat. I love that we could get an appointment quickly and our cat’s medication was refilled easily.

My cat, Sophie, who had been with us for over 18 years, had to be laid to rest last Wednesday. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made in my life. We had quite the attachment to each other and it shattered my heart seeing her not live her best life. So I called around to some places. I’ve shopped at this Petsmart for a couple years now and truly appreciate all the folks there. They are genuine people that love what they do. So it only made sense to bring Sophie to the Banfield hospital attached. The staff at the hospital were great and very empathetic. They all made sure to go over each step of the way and make sure we understood the process. I got to hold my girl until she crossed over and we all had one last round of goodbyes with her. I got to pick up her ashes today and I am blown away by the care and love they put into this. I know it’s an outside company that does it, but whomever they are, thank you. Thank you for promptly giving my cat back, taking the care needed and concentrating on the little details that mean so much. Thank you to the staff for their support and kindness throughout. I would definitely recommend their services to pet owners. I’ll miss my multiple weekly visits to the store, but wish you all well and continued success. Thanks for making Sophie’s final chapter just a little bit easier for me and her family. One suggestion, try to get a bigger room for this type of stuff. My bf is a big guy and we were like sardines in there lol.

I hate everything about Banfield. My sweet Mika died in October of 2024 and I’m still paying for her “policy”. She didn’t have anything major happen like surgery etc. her policy should have covered her while she was ALIVE. No one should EVER have a policy for anything and then continue to have to pay N entire year after they loose a loved one. Shame on you!! Corporate greed!!Dont buy a health policy here. Ever.

This past weekend, I tragically lost my dog. In an effort to cancel my wellness plan, I contacted Banfield on Sunday, August 10th, seeking guidance. Unfortunately, the response I received was deeply disappointing. The representative I spoke with displayed no empathy or compassion—there was no acknowledgment of my loss, no "I'm sorry for your loss" or any expression of sympathy. The call felt completely transactional and impersonal, leaving me feeling unsupported in a very difficult time. This lack of basic empathy has led me to decide that I will no longer be doing business with Banfield in the future.
