Over the years, my experience at Banfield in Addison has had its ups and downs. When I first started coming here, there was a wonderful doctor who eventually left, and for about two years after that, the location relied on rotating temporary doctors. That lack of consistency was difficult. Things truly improved when Dr. Reinisch joined. He is, without question, one of the most dedicated and compassionate veterinarians I have encountered within Banfield. He takes the time to listen, ensures that both pets and owners feel heard, and consistently goes above and beyond to provide excellent care. Thanks to his leadership, the clinic has grown significantly, with a strong amazing team and what seems like a very loyal client base. About two years ago, a second veterinarian, Dr. Brar, was brought in to help with demand. While he is kind and likely very capable, I have personally struggled with communication due to a language barrier, which makes it challenging when discussing my dog’s health. I was recently informed that Dr. Brar will now become the primary doctor at this location, and Dr. Reinisch will transition to a traveling role, only being available in Addison on Tuesdays. This change is incredibly disappointing. Like many other clients, I have come to rely on Dr. Reinisch’s care and trust him deeply with my pets. As a result, I’ve had to cancel my upcoming appointments while I figure out next steps—whether that means adjusting my schedule to continue seeing Dr. Reinisch or finding a new provider altogether. It’s frustrating to feel uncertain about the level of care and familiarity I can expect moving forward. Overall, I’m very disappointed in the direction this location is taking, especially after years of building trust and consistency with such an outstanding veterinarian. All my love to the team, today is a sad day for all of us.

I took in my 12-year-old Bengal for vaccinations. He has had a swollen belly developing and I was afraid it was a cancerous tumor. Dr. Reinisch suggested blood work and it came back clean so whatever is growing inside of him is benign. This was my first time in the clinic and I can say the entire staff was extremely polite, caring, and Dr. Reinisch's demeanor was excellent. Pricing is very reasonable.

The staff here were great. However, we cannot recommend Dr. Brar, because of how he spoke to us and his attitude. The rest of the staff were very caring and compassionate regarding our baby boy.

My dog had a cracked tooth and was in alot of pain. Dr. Reinisch and his staff got her scheduled quickly and made me feel at ease with the process. They were very caring and considerate. My dog is now out of pain and back to her happy little self!

I signed up for a year plan at $27 but it’s been changing me $52 a month and when I try to call and cancel it gives me an hour long wait time and confusing misleading information. They don’t care about your pet’s health they only care about money.
