By far the worst veterinarian I've ever taken my cat to, and I am still dealing with issues days after my visit. My 11 year old cat and I had just moved to the area from out of state and he has a long history of allergies and anxiety. I came into the clinic to re-explore anti-anxiety remedies to help with with the added stress of the move which had been causing him to overgroom and scratch, leaving bald spots and open sores all over. Dr. Gilbert was our vet, and she immediately dismissed my concern that it was anxiety, even though I told her we just moved and his overgrooming was hyper-active. She then went on to recommend everything that had already been listed in his file for allergies that did not work for him, and then gave us recommendations that didn't even address the main health concern. I've never had to advocate for my cat's health more in my life. Not only did she suggest an $800 arthritis shot, (my cat does not show signs of arthritis and is irrelevant to his health concerns) but proceeded to say there was "no science behind this", and recommended it because "it worked for her cat." Then she suggested flea medicine. My cat does not have fleas. Then recommended "antibiotics because his skin is infected." I asked her where was it infected, and she couldn't tell me because his skin was actually not infected, just irritated and raw. We settled on a topical mousse and after asking AGAIN to try anti-anxiety medicine, she agreed to prescribe them. However, after I had not seen the prescription filled four days after our visit, I find out she had deleted my existing account through the online pharmacy to create a new one without consulting me, and spelled my last name wrong, and in doing so deleted my cat's existing food prescriptions we had gotten through a vet in our previous state. I am now dealing with the online pharmacy customer support to have the vet fill his anxiety medication with my CORRECT name, and hopefully, be able to reinstate his previous food prescriptions that were lost, but that was not guaranteed. And we still do not have his anti-anxiety medicine. Shame on Dr. Gilbert, if you go to this vet clinic, I suggest you ask for any other doctor besides her. I'll be going elsewhere.

We brought our Buddy here because he had a really bad ear infection. The first time didn't go well, but they rescheduled us with some meds to give him to calm him down. When we came back they were able to take care of him and they even trimmed his nails, too! Very happy we founda vet close to home, we have been to others that refused to see Buddy because he's very protective (ahem, the vet in Hendersonville)

Doesn't do behavioral euthanasia just in case you are looking for somewhere. Being an emergency vet clinic seems like this is a pretty big miss on their part. They are at least polite. Though expensive.
