Dr. Link has been our vet for 30 + years and he treats us with the same level of care every time. He prescribes appropriate testing without unnecessary tests and procedures. He had referred other pets for specialized treatments and surgeries which were as successful as possible. I highly recommend WH Animal hospital to anyone with pets!
- LGLori GleasonNov 28, 20251.0The vet failed to inform me of the side effects of a steroid shot for allergies prior to me giving her permission to administer it to my 12 yr old 19lb cat. I had to look up the side effects myself at home when he started having breathing issues. The steroid is a slow release that stays in their system for 2-4 weeks. It can cause congestive heart failure in over weight cats. Had I been educated about this side effect by the vet, my cat would still be with me. Unfortunately he had to be euthanized on Thanksgiving Day because he went into congestive heart failure within 24 hrs of getting the shot. He had never been diagnosed with any heart issues. I will NEVER use or recommend this vet to anyone..

Our usual vet was closed due to a training, but we needed to get him that day to be seen. They welcomed us in, even if it was just a one time visit, but we had such amazing care there, we decided to switch all together. Brutus is a 13 year old lab, so he has developed health problems. Dr. Link went through everything he could to make sure he was set up for success. He caught things our previous vet didn't, and is treating him amazingly. Dr. Link spent 2 hours with us yesterday going over every little thing, so we could make sure our dog is living his best life at this age. I cannot thank him and the entire staff enough for the compassion and thoroughness they showed us yesterday. We are so thankful for them and the experience we received yesterday.
