- KMKayla MiddletonJan 23, 20261.0I brought my dog to this vet from March 2023 to January 2025. I had a membership too so I paid monthly which the membership was extremely nice. In January I brought my dog in for her shots and wellness exam and she is usually pretty timid she had never bitten and never lunged at anyone she just cowers behind me. Well normally the vet does her shots while I comfort her and hold her head to face me so she isn’t stressed and she can see me. The vet we were with (male) would not let me comfort or support her in anyway. She backed herself into a corner and he kept going after her for the shot to where she let out a warning snap (she didn’t bite just a warning). She is a very good and gentle dog but when you back her into a corner she is bound to react. He then said you’ll need to sedate her next time and gave me zero info past that. I immediately pulled her and took her to modern vet where they are easing her into the sedatives and doing happy visits to help her be more comfortable and relaxed. They go at her pace.

Dr. John was great to my kitty and took his time and answered all my questions and concerns. I feel like my precious Lumi boy is in good hands now. Their fees are very reasonable as well and I was actually talked out of a service. I was told I didn't need it. Most places would try and get you to pay for as many services as possible so this was very impressive.
