Without asking or informing, they gave him multiple other vaccines and charged us $170. When questioned, the staff were rude and dismissive. Giving an animal unapproved vaccines by their owner is not only unethical, it can be dangerous. We later read reports online that Vetco employees are pressured to sell more vaccine packages or risk having their hours cut. Whether or not that’s true, our experience felt like a sales quota mattered more than our dog’s safety or our consent.
