Dr Brogli took the time to educate me on feline diabetes . He also printed me a take home Diabetes Guide. I was impressed with him taken the time to do that. I think it`s a good place for the care of your pet. Some of my immediately family have used them and have been happy. Cats doing better now.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. We went in for our normal check-up and Dr. Schram felt a lump on my dog's shoulder. I was so surprised because we love on her all day and never felt it, and it was the size of a half dollar. She offered to draw fluid from the lump and send it to pathology, which I would have done regardless, and that was $400. Fast forward to when she called to give me the results from the lab less than a week later and she said "consistent with a sarcoma". I told her how surprised I was because it had already shrunk down the size of a pea, and we thought it was more likely a seroma (caused by trauma) and that maybe she had hit her shoulder on the steps or stung by one of the many wasps in our yard. She said we needed to schedule surgery to remove it. Of course when the "C word" cancer is thrown around, we are scared and expect the provider to give us ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION AND DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSES. We scheduled the surgery, they cut 3 inches down my dog's shoulder and chest (mind you this is a 20lb dog!) and reportedly cut everything out "all the way down to the muscle". She was in so much pain the next day I couldn't stand it. I even called the next day to report how much pain she was in, and they just said it was normal instead of offering her more pain relief. So then several days later, we get the result that is WAS NOT a sarcoma. At first I was just relieved my dog didn't have cancer, but then it started to click. I read about sarcomas and how it is NOT NORMAL for them to RAPIDLY SHRINK. Surely as a medical provider she is aware of this, and she did not use ANY CLINICAL JUDGEMENT to say if it's shrunk that fast we'd be cautious to preform surgery and instead to monitor it or even do a punch biopsy and send off more samples before NEEDLESSLY CUTTING INTO MY DOG. Surgery has SO MANY RISKS involved. STROKE. INFECTION. DEATH. She took medications she's never had before and could have reacted to. When I called the office I spoke with the office manager, who I had a calm conversation with while she took notes and even SHE told me she was so sorry this happened, and she would have Dr. Brogle call to talk about what happened to my dog. When he called me, he went on defense and kept interrupting me over and over and was argumentative. He gave me some jargon on how he's "discussed the case with several colleagues and they all would have done the same thing." I call bull. He wouldn't have taken the time to discuss it if he didn't think malpractice was a possibility here. This would be MALPRACTICE in a human. Period. He kept talking over me and when I interrupted him and he said something about it, I said "why is it okay for you to keep interrupting me then?" I told him I wanted copies of her medical records, and he HUNG UP ON ME. THIS PRACTICE PUT MY DOG IN DANGER AND CHARGED ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR IT. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. *******EDIT: they sent me her medical records and WOULDN'T YA KNOW, THE FINAL PATHOLOGY REPORT SAYS CONSISTENT WITH "SEROMA" AS I, A NON-VETERINARY PERSON, SUSPECTED BASED ON A QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH. DON'T TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!****** ****EDIT #2: They replied to my review stating-----" While this discrepancy between initial cytology and final histopathology is understandably confusing, it is a known limitation of cytology. Cytology is an important diagnostic tool but does not always align perfectly with full tissue pathology, which is why the removal and submission of the entire mass for confirmation is routinely recommended when cancer is suspected."------ literally contradicts itself. It's actually thinking backwards. So if a "known limitation" of test is that it can be inaccurate, it further proves my point that additional testing like a punch biopsy or bw for tumor markers should have been done before performing a surgical procedure. Why would you routinely use an inaccurate "diagnostic tool" with "known limitations" and not follow up with additional testing before going forward with a treatment plan when the "tumor" was shrinking on its own? Just don't take your pets here.

This was one of the worst customer-service experiences I’ve ever had with an animal clinic. Dr. Brogli (who answered the phone) was blunt, dismissive, and incredibly rude from the start. Before I could even finish explaining why I was calling, he hung up on me. If this is how they treat people seeking help for their pets, I can’t imagine what the rest of the experience is like. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never use this clinic again, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Extremely unprofessional. They will make you think your animal is sick when they aren't even sure themselves and it will cost you more money with unnecessary procedures. They will call you after the surgery to tell your animal was never sick to begin with. Then they will hang up on you if you ask questions about it. Money grabbing facility with poor ethics

I had a very disappointing experience with this animal clinic. When I called with a simple question, the person on the phone was unexpectedly rude and seemed annoyed that I needed help. Before I could even finish explaining my situation, they hung up on me. I understand clinics can get busy, but there’s no excuse for treating people—or their pets—this way. I won’t be returning and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place based on how I was treated.
