Terrible experience. I dropped off my dog at 11:00 a.m. and was told he would be ready and vaccinated by 1:00 p.m. When that time passed and I didn’t receive a call, I decided to call them myself. The woman who answered was very rude and told me they would call “when he’s ready,” completely ignoring what I had been told earlier.
After waiting even longer with no update, we went in person to see what was going on. Again, the same rude attitude—she just told me to wait without giving any explanation. After another 30 minutes, I asked them to give me my dog back, vaccinated or not, because it had already been over 5 hours. It’s hard to believe they couldn’t administer just two vaccines in all that time.
Ironically, when it was time to pay, her attitude suddenly improved. On top of that, the employee who originally told me my dog would be ready at 1:00 p.m. later denied ever saying that and even laughed sarcastically, which was extremely disrespectful.
To make matters worse, I paid without even knowing if my dog was actually vaccinated, and they didn’t provide any proof or vaccination record.
I definitely do not recommend this place. Completely unprofessional, poor customer service, and zero transparency.

As always the care for my little buddy was great. I am sorry that I am terrible with names but everyone there are real dog and cat lovers and it shows.

I called about 7 minutes before close just to ask some quick questions. I understand it wasn’t an emergency but I sat on hold for 20 minutes for it to send me straight to voicemail. I was told I’d be on hold “briefly”. If you weren’t able to take my call, I’d be totally okay with you not answering at all, or telling me to call back tomorrow. Just wasted 20 minutes that I could’ve spent calling a different vet before they all closed.

I am very unimpressed with their professionalism. I feel like any time that I’ve visited, their overall atmosphere and attitude wasn’t very welcoming nor a sense of urgency. I originally had booked through the app for an in room appointment and then the next morning they called saying they can’t do that so I needed to come in earlier for a drop off. That wasn’t an issue as long as my cat was getting seen. I arrived 15 minutes early and checked in and then waited for 30 extra minutes from my appointment time. I understand they are busy, but again I felt that there wasn’t a sense of urgency. I’ve been places where they really express that they want to take care of your fur baby and ensure the best care for them. The first lady came in and asked maybe a few questions and then walked out. I sat there waiting for another 15 minutes not knowing where she went. Then a guy came in and didn’t even introduce himself or say hi. The first lady returned saying that he was going to go over my quote and ask for my signature. The guy looked like he really couldn’t care less or just doing what he was told. It was very “let me get to the point and sign”. He proceeded to go over the quote and just burped without even excusing himself. Dr. Vignal was very caring and helped answer my questions over the phone. When it was time to pickup my baby the same guy brought her out with the cage door open and the cage wasn’t even all the way clasped and had to point that out so she wouldn’t fall out. It was just overall unprofessional. I would do your research and read reviews before booking here.

Updated - I was contacted by Banfield and was able to get my dog in and taken care of. Thank you.
Original review - I pay monthly for a wellness plan for my dog. Called the Murfreesboro location (where I live) to schedule vaccinations and neutering. Was told when I called that they don’t have a doctor that can neuter and they will not schedule any neutering and that they are booking out appointments past March 2023 (It is currently mid-January). Was also told that I need to get his neutering done before May 2023 (because of the plan), but they won't schedule one. I was told to call around and see if any other locations would take him.
This is completely ridiculous – how can you be a pet hospital but have no one on staff that can neuter a dog? What have I paid hundreds of dollars for in a wellness plan? I will be canceling my plan and demanding a refund for money paid.
