Dr. Mangum is far more than a veterinarian he is a calling in motion. His expertise in exotic and traditional veterinary medicine is extraordinary, but what truly sets him apart is his heart, his faith, and the way he loves both animals and the people who care for them. I have monkeys, dogs, cats, and a whole little “zoo,” and there has never been a time day or night that I could not reach Dr. Mangum when something was wrong. Whether it is the middle of the night or a busy day full of emergencies, he always responds, follows up, and truly wants to know how each and every one of my animals is doing. He doesn’t just treat symptoms he stays invested in their ongoing well-being. His knowledge of exotic animals, especially primates, is remarkable. He doesn’t guess. He studies. He explains. He educates. And he makes sure you understand what is happening and what is needed, so you can be the best caretaker possible. He spends real time with you not rushed, not dismissive teaching, encouraging, and helping you do what is right for your animals. What also means the world to me is that Dr. Mangum is a man of faith who loves Jesus. His Christian values show in the way he treats people, in the way he honors family, and in the compassion he extends to every creature placed in his care. He doesn’t just care for your pets he cares for your whole family. He calls you family, and in today’s world, that kind of heart and integrity is rare and precious. Yes, sometimes he is out saving another life because he is often the only doctor available in an emergency. But I will gladly wait all day or all night for the best veterinarian there is. My monkeys, my dogs, my cats, and any animal I ever have will only be entrusted to Dr. Mangum. If you are looking for a veterinarian with unmatched skill, deep compassion, strong faith, and true dedication Dr. Mangum is it! Victoria 🐾💙

Dr. Mangum is truly one of a kind. I have entrusted him with the care of some of the most precious beings in my life my animals and I can say without hesitation that he is exceptional in every way. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but he is also deeply compassionate. He treats every pet as if it were his own, with gentleness, patience, and genuine care. Whether it’s routine care or something complex and stressful, Dr. Mangum takes the time to explain, to listen, and to make sure both the animal and the owner feel safe and understood. I have animals with very unique and specialized needs, and Dr. Mangum has always met those needs with professionalism, calm confidence, and a level of dedication that is rare to find. I trust him completely and that is not something I say lightly. When my animals are in his care, I know they are in the very best hands possible. If you are looking for a veterinarian who combines true medical expertise with a heart for animals, Dr. Mangum is it. I am beyond grateful for him and the care he has given to my pets. I cannot recommend him highly enough. — Vicki Bridges 🐾
