  I took my lab to get a bath and added the essentials package at the Millington location and I was scammed. I’ve used petco before for grooming and training but it’s been a few years as I moved to an area with no petco. To start off, I don’t believe the groomer did what I paid for? My dog’s paws did not get paw balm, they were still dry as they were when I took her in, and I don’t think she brushed her teeth. Both which were in the essentials package I added on to the service. When I booked the appointment it said the bath was $40 and the essentials package added $22 on the total. So we are now at $62. Well wrong. I was charged $96 and then asked to tip. Which included a “materials fee”. I’m sorry but if I’m paying a company for a service, having a materials fee is absolutely bs. I immediately told the cashier that, that cannot be correct. She said she would go ask the groomers and when she came back the answer was she’s not a large but a XXL dog so the price is different. That would have been nice to know when the groomer was checking in my dog and doing the physical examination. I did not know there was a bigger size than large, as that is what the website classified her as when I made the profile. So the bath alone was $56 instead of $40. Still doesn’t add up to $96 though? Then there was a paper stapled to my checkout paper with a discount on it and a new price of $68 dollars. So I said wait what was that paper and why am I not getting that price? The cashier then told me that coupon isn’t valid unless I pay a $29.99 monthly subscription that’s something else than just having an account with petco. That’s predatory pricing. I even tried calling corporate to ask if this was standard for the company or just this location and I didn’t get any answers, all I got was “I have noted everything and have sent th complaint to the management team and they will reach out.” . All this being said, this was extremely deceptive pricing and awful customer service. I WILL NOT be using petco again.

  Rebecca was great! My two got to friendly with a skunk and all the home remedies wasn't enough. Took them this morning to get de-skunk and they smell great!!

  Employees have always been polite,the store usually have what I’m looking for except the whole hearted chicken food topper for my lil Reggie. It seems to sell fast. The vet clinic they have there,people that work that are great. They seen my lil Reggie riding in the seat part of the basket and they loved that. It’s a place you can take your dog,big or small,end just walk around and look at things.
