Unfortunately, I met Dr. Cindy under very sad circumstances, but I can’t imagine this process anywhere else. Every one of the staff is attentive, sweet and amazing.

I wasn’t originally going to leave a review, but the longer I sit with what happened, the more I feel like I need to share this so no one else goes through what we did. Back in June, we brought our dog in for an unrelated issue. After bloodwork, we were told she had cancer. The vet immediately pushed euthanasia as the next step. We asked about other options and chose to try steroids not because we were given hope, but simply to have a little more time with her before making the hardest decision a pet owner can make. Something about the diagnosis didn’t feel right. After researching on my own, I learned that certain tick-borne illnesses can mimic cancer in bloodwork and symptoms. Her symptoms and bloodwork matched Babesia and would have been much worse if it was cancer. When I brought this possibility back to the vet, he brushed it off and said he didn’t mention it because it would’ve been “too expensive.” This was not his decision to make that was ours. We weren’t given the full picture or the chance to make an informed choice. We returned and requested the tick test ourselves. On July 2nd, one test came back negative and one came back inconclusive. I was told that they have never had a test come back inconclusive before. Still searching for clarity, I took her to another vet on July 3rd but that vet simply accepted the first diagnosis without running new tests and also told us it was cancer. On July 4th, believing cancer was the only explanation and trusting the “professionals”, we made the heartbreaking decision to put her down. The following day July 5th the original vet called and told me the Babesia test came back positive and asked how she was doing and if I wanted to bring her in for treatment. But she was already gone. My dog wasn’t dying of cancer she had a treatable tick-borne illness. She was never given the chance to fight, because multiple professionals made assumptions instead of running the right diagnostic steps and neglected to inform me of all the options. I’m writing this for every pet owner who sits in a vet’s office scared and overwhelmed: Just because a vet says something doesn’t make it absolute truth. Ask questions. Ask for testing. Get a real second opinion and not just someone repeating someone else’s assumptions. Trust your gut. If this happened to us, then I can’t help but wonder how many other families have walked out with the wrong diagnosis or worse, made irreversible decisions based on incomplete information. Nothing can undo what happened to my dog but if this review makes even one owner slow down, push for answers, and save their pet’s life, then it’s worth writing.

Absolutely incredible team, welcoming environment. Office, reception and even the outside was immaculate, no dust or hair anywhere! I didn't feel like they were just trying to sell me stuff, I actually felt like they all truly cared about my senior dog. Dr Jessica went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Can't thank you guys enough!
