- CGChi GrahamMar 20, 20261.0They use the "first exam free" gimmick to lure you in thinking you are getting a deal. But they are going to get that back when they pad your bill!!! I took my dog in and wasnt surprised about him needing his ears checked out bc he had been shaking his head out of nowhere. The lady ran down the procedures and costs to me. The allergy shot the ear cleaning and tests. Wasn't terrible. I then let her know I also had the coupon which waived the exam visit fee which made the price really good. She leaves with my pet and a few minutes later some lady saying she's the manager comes in and tells me oh sorry thats not actually your price. Even tho thats what she just ran down to me and it was the treatment I signed authorization on. I was like so how much extra she says $100 lol. Seriously taking me back up to over the original price before I stated I had a coupon. I told her oh no I will just wait on that bc that is a big price increase. She informed me that oh we already gave it to him!! WHO DOES THAT. IVE NEVER BEEN A PLACE where one price is agreed on, the provider comes to a higher price and they don't run it by the customer first. We are not talking about $5 we talking about $100 plus tax. And on top of that I asked the first pet nurse several questions about my pet's general care bc I am a new pet mom and not only did she never answer a single one she didnt relay them to someone who would either. Or they just didn't care to idk. But I do know I will not be back not even for his follow up appointment I'll be making that somewhere else. Shout out to the vet that saw him tho! She was amazing!! She helped put ear drops in and was super patient while he was very dramatic. And she was the only one who apologized for the "miscommunication".

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
