On this day though I brought a second dog we recently adopted that was a lot of work due to matting. An hour after dropping him off I got a call that they couldn't work with him anymore and I would get the rundown of what was done once I picked him up. There was no work done, I'm not sure what the barrier was that he was sat aside for an hour before they tried to bathe him which they said he was so stressed they couldn't do so. I ended up taking him to an actual dog groomer and within 2 hours he was ready for pickup and was reported to have done perfectly aside from some hesitation. I had dropped off my second dog which they've had before just for a bath. When I picked him up I already knew something was off, beside the fact he actually smelled good lol, but he barely even wagged his tail when they walked him out to us when usually I get half jumps and some vocal excitement. He's been reluctant to get up since we got him home, he's not even 3 years and loves to play outside which he takes encouragement just to get up to go potty. The next day hes started limping and nipping when we try to check his paw. Thanks PetCo for the upcoming vet bill!!! I don't know what you did to my dogs while unattended by me but PetCo can count on us not returning and discouraging others from going here. There's a more credible and dog friendly grooming business just down the road for the same if not cheaper prices.
