My cat had a respiratory infection, which he gets almost every year around this time and was clearly symptomatic with frequent sneezing. The vet administered two injections and told me to bring him back if he wasn’t improving within a few days. When my cat showed no improvement and in fact seemed worse, I followed their instructions and returned. I expected a medication to be prescribed since he had been seen just days earlier. Instead, I was charged for a second full office visit, blood work, two more injections, and even a biohazard waste fee. The total for those two visits came to $540. A week later, my cat still was not better. I finally requested medication, which I believe should have been prescribed from the beginning. In total, I spent over $600 for what should have been a straightforward respiratory infection. For comparison, I have paid less at another veterinary office when my cat required X-rays and anesthesia. I feel completely overcharged and disappointed with how this was handled. I will not be returning to this clinic and cannot recommend it to others
