Their number one goal is your fur baby. This was my first visit to this location (just moved to Tn), and I am completely impressed by all I interacted with. Thank you so much for your excellent and great customer service and care for all! I have recently moved out of CT and visited the Hixson location and found that they had two associates forcfully hold my medicated 15lbs shih tzu down to administer his shots i have since covid been asking with disregard everytime to be in the room with him as I have noticed time and time again he was getting more and more frightened to go there (which is why they started to medicate him) this is completely unacceptable and even the Dr. felt the same way and refused to do that to him.... she has provided a different medication to help with his fear and treated him with respect instead of like an aggressive/ uncooperative dog that the plainville location was treating him like..... also this exam was done in a room with me there, as i asked to be! They treated me and my dog with respect...unfortunately the doctor was not able or wanting to provided the exam as my dog is so fearful of the doctors/vet techs that neither of the could even pet him without him screaming out in fear... however, by the time we left, after discussing what we can do next for the benefit of my dog, and the doctor and vet tech trying to show him love... he was a little more comfortable with the vet tech and he let her pet him finally.... my dog will go to anyone for pets but not at the vet.... this location cares about the pets that need a little extra love and comfort and just want to do whats best for the pet... I am so happy I do not have to go back to the plainville location again and that my dog doesn't have to endure the abuse he was getting from that location. Thank you for taking the time to listen to your pet owners and doing the right thing.---- Client for 16 years and only reason why I still am a client is because I have a new and better location to go to

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
