I was called several times in the weeks leading up to this appointment- which i’ve had scheduled for around 2 weeks- and had to cancel and change plans due to them rescheduling our appointment 3 times. My boyfriend had taken off work early and we had left our home an hour early since we live near downtown Nashville. As we were on our way about 10 minutes out from the Petco, we called as there was an accident on the highway and we were going to arrive a few minutes late. I was told by Lindsey that the grooming center would not be able to accommodate as we were coming in over our scheduled time by 8 minutes. Lindsey proceeded to speak with Brittany, who would have been performing our puppy’d groom. We were told Brittany was leaving ar 6 and would not be able to take my pup today, even if we were to take off a service or just need the haircut. As we are leaving town tomorrow, I needed to get this done today. When I arrived, I recieved snarky looks from Brittany and overheard her saying that my dog is “not a small dog”. Both her and the other girl grooming dogs were still not finished with the dogs they were working on. We were extremely disappointed in the customer service and the way the situation was handled. Lindsey was very sweet to look around for other locations for us to get this taken care of, but we still were unable to get our dog groomed today. I’m very disappointed in the grooming salon at this Petco and unfortunately will be taking our business elsewhere.
- FAFelice ArredondoNov 28, 20251.0I made a grooming appointment last week and told the girl that the Boys get a small dose of something to relax them for o make it easier for them to be groomed. She said ok, nothing else. I go to drop them off today and mention to the girl that they had the meds to relax them and she ask what they were given and I tell her Tridoze (sp) and she proceeds to tell me we are not allowed to take dogs on that medicine? Why wasn’t I told this last week when I told the girl I would be giving it to them? Extremely disappointed and upset at the lack of proper communication nor do I understand the policy since the meds are prescribed by the Vet to relax them.
