- RCRain Compton5 days ago1.0I’ve been a loyal Banfield Pet Hospital client for years and have always had positive experiences—until this location. I initially reached out because their payment system repeatedly declined my payments, and I was simply trying to find an alternative solution. Unfortunately, the interaction quickly became unprofessional. The representative I spoke with hung up on me. When I called back, he provided a different name and spoke to me in a condescending tone. I was then transferred to someone who was not a manager, and after the call quality repeatedly broke up, she also disconnected the call and did not follow up. This experience raised concerns that had already started during my first visit. When I dropped off my cat, the back door was left open, and I overheard staff speaking negatively about other customers. That alone was concerning, but combined with the lack of professionalism I experienced over the phone, it left me questioning the overall culture at this location. I’ll be taking my business to another Banfield moving forward, which is disappointing given the consistently great care I’ve received from other locations over the years. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this particular location due to the level of customer service and professionalism demonstrated.

- PVPaige VickermanApr 1, 20265.0Dr. Dunn is the most gentle, caring, peaceful doctor for my spazzy dog who is afraid of people, dogs and especially the vet! Dr. Dunn has such a calm demeanor my dog immediately went into zen mode. This Dr. is a game changer for me and my dog. I highly recommend him for your pet, an absolute angel of a person!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
