- AAAllison AustinFeb 8, 20255.0I fell in love with Dr. Shelton, during my first visit. I'm normally leary of new vets because I have often seen cats treated with cold indifference. However, when the techs informed the doctor that my kitty didn't like to be picked up, Dr. Shelton didn't try to pick her up to put her on the counter. Instead, she simply sat on the floor with her to examine her. I have never had a vet treat my kitties with such compassion and understanding for their different quirks and traits. I will continue to take my fur-babies (and all future) to Dr. Shelton and Unicoi Animal Hospital. Thank you!
