I hate hate hate leaving a review but after communicating… (kind of) with Maggie about her keeping our older dog I just feel like customer service was absolutely insane…. I had a friend refer her business to me as she used her multiple times for their dog, which is a Lab, and my friend always talked about how much her dog loved going. So I was really excited to maybe have her keep our Lab too. I reached out to her via instagram and told her his age and that he was a chocolate lab/bull mastiff mix. But she immediately messaged back and said she’s not licensed to have any type of mastiffs. So I sent her pictures of him and explained his demeanor, which we have a toddler girly and a tea cup poodle and he literally loves them and lets them do whatever, I got no response and then a few hours later I got an email saying that she declined the request for his stay. No explanation or anything stating laws on licensing for boarding mastiffs or even just that she preferred to not keep them due to safety just in case! So I sent her another message and just said I saw where you declined his stay but also can’t find ANYTHING online about laws on licensing to board mastiffs in Tennessee, so in that case she totally could have just told me she simply didn’t feel comfortable keeping him and I said that I have seen lots of other mixed breeds on her instagram page but that was fine.. I just won’t reach out anymore! She immediately blocked me. I just feel like customer service wise, that is just not the best way to handle a potential customer, especially when they were a referral!!! And also the (seemingly) lying of the licensing on breed types. (Which please if anyone finds those please let me know.) I mean we aren’t even sure that is what he is mixed with because we have had him for 10+ years and that is what we were told when we got him at 6 weeks old as a puppy and he only gives labrador vibes. Anyways, I hope this helps others who may be looking around for sweet customer service to board their doggies or a business that appreciates referrals because it doesn’t seem to matter to this particular business.

I needed a last minute boarder for my two dogs, and Maggie Waggie Tails had availability! She guided me through my user error for booking, was patient with us while we were late for dropoff, and kept us updated with photos of our pups during the time we were away. I was able to switch my pickup date as well, and really appreciated getting to see my babies earlier than scheduled. The biggest perk was knowing they had the same level of attention and comfort they get at home. I’d recommend Maggie Waggie Tails and will definitely book again!

Our boxer, Max, loves his day care days and overnight stays with Ms. Maggie! He gets so excited when we pull on her street. We feel completely worry-free going on out of town trips because we know Maggie will treat Max like her own. She even sends cute pictures of what they are up to!
Maggie also assisted us with Max at our wedding a couple weeks ago- getting him to the venue ready for wedding photos, walking him down the aisle so he could be our ring bearer, and dropping him back off at our house. We absolutely recommend Maggie for any daycare or boarding (or wedding) needs!
