The photo on the left is what i got today. The one on the right is what I got on my first visit. I'm totally disappointed with the service today and how this was handled. First, my appointment was changed without a phone call to see if this work with my schedule. Second, I explained to the groomer about how much to cut and she ignored my request. Now my sweet girl has a botched haircut and she refused to put a bow on her. The groomer stated that she could not put bows on puppies. The first visit was great, and the groomer took good care knowing that this was her first time. This was explained to the groomer today that this was her second appointment. I brushed my sweet girl the night before and they charged me for her being matted. This was not true. I'm very upset about this and will probably not use them again. If you're not use to grooming puppies just say up front. The pictures are about 3 weeks apart. I spoke to the grooming manager; and she explained that each groomer does their individual service and that is depends on who you get for service as to what they can and cannot do. BUT on the website for scheduling it does not give any overview as to what each groomer can or cannot do. This is very poor service. I found out the hard way. The manager said and I quote" each groomer is different and no it does mot state on the website what each one is able to do or not do". She stood by the groomer and overlooked what I explained that I asked for as a customer. If a company or a location can't be transparent about what service is available, then you should not be in business. I will never use them again. If you are in this area, think twice before you use them.

I am a hobbyist of the aquarium trade for 25 years. I have patroned PETCO numerous times for supplies over the years. Upon a recent visit I noticed that the care level of the animals at this store, as well as the one in Hixson, TN, both managed by "Mel" (we can't seem to get a last name) are keeping their animals below humane standards. Most recently, upon purchasing two crustaceans from the saltwater department ($30 each), I returned home and immediately tested the water in the bag with a calibrated digital refractometer. The resulting salinity was 1.021, which is dangerously low for such a sensitive animal, not to mention all the corals also being kept in that tank with the crustaceans. It is in the literature that invertebrates and corals should be kept at a 1.023-1.026. Shrimps are also extremely sensitive to condition swings, which is why we acclimated over a course of two hours. We have not had any other animal introduced into this specific tank, to die within 24 hours. One shrimp died in the bag, the other about 20 hours later, and its body was contracted, which is a sign of severe osmotic change (dehydration). Also of note, the day I bought the shrimps I met a young employee who was changing the tank water, who said that he had just learned to do this, and was without any supervision. He checked the salinity of the water to be added with his refractometer one time without calibrating it, did not test temperature, and did not test the tank water when he was finished. When I returned to the store the next day, the fish in the saltwater tower had visibly been effected. Their color was patchy and dull, and they were breathing heavily at the bottom of the tank. My wife and I have also noticed on every occasion of visiting both of these stores over the last eight years, that their baby Bearded Dragons (which we have one) are kept at 60% humidity, when it is well known that baby bearded's require even lower humidity than adults, around 20%. You can tell looking at the animals that they are distressed. All in all, I have come to a point where it no longer feels right to continue patronizing this business, and not only that, but I feel that it is not right for them to continue operating in this way, for the sake of the animals if nothing else. -> This is a reiteration of the complaint we filed with PETA.
