Plus the office visit was supposed to be free but I still spent over 100 bucks for a shot (vaccines), worn meds, and flea meds that were topical I had to put on my kitty that was only for a month and did not work at all. Before it is mentioned yes I took preventative measures first and cleaned and treated everything as well. I think they need to change the affordable advertising on their site. Also the nurse was going between my kitty and another pet at the same time and seemed really distracted. I wasn’t impressed. I got a brown paper bag with meds, her tag, and a stack of papers on things to read which I feel like I got just instructions on what to do so I paid over 100 bucks for flea meds for a month, worm meds ( probably could have got at co-op for a lot less or better meds for a lot less) and a vaccine shot. Ridiculous I think they are more concerned with money than they are the well being of our fur babies. I was considering having her spayed there but not after this. I’ll be looking for another regular vet and I’ll be taking her to PPaws to get spayed. I was really disappointed bc I was hoping this could be our place and it being in Petsmart I thought was pretty sweet. What a waste.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
