Our January shipment made it as far as Colorado and FedEx decided they did not want to deliver it so it has been sitting in Colorado since 1/22/2026. The payment for our February repeat delivery had already came out of our account and we were concerned that we would not get our February shipment either, so we went into our Rapid City, SD store. They cancelled the January order, put the money on a gift card and found us 3 bottles of litter to replace the January delivery, even though they did not have exactly what we had ordered, they still met the online price. They then cancelled the February order, put that money on a separate gift card and got us 3 more bottles of litter for the February order. All in all they were more than helpful, more than professional, more than friendly. They went FAR above and beyond to make us feel like we were not bothering them and they handled the problem instead of just sending us away to Corporate, which most places would have done. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Rapid City PetCo store, and their staff. They are the VERY BEST at what they do and they treat their customers like family. To go along with this, they are burrowing fish so I had asked if they needed sand, the same lady had told me no they don’t. Looked it up later on and found out she lied to me on both accounts. This lady has no basic knowledge and should NOT be working with animals if she hasn’t a clue what she’s talking about.
