  Pam, at the Sumter Petco has an attitude. About something. She’s terse when speaking to and has a lot to learn about customer service. She kept our dog all day and I had to trim my dog up myself after bringing him home the first time. She is new, so I gave her a second chance. She told me I would get a coupon for my free grooming session and my boy would not be freaky until 3:00-3:30 after dropping him off at 9:30 am. I received a text at 1:30pm that he was ready. When I got there to pick him up she said I needed to bring in the email for my free grooming. I did not have my phone so I paid. Petco and its groomers are over priced and unprofessional. Never again will I go back.

  I had a terrible experience with Petco grooming and specifically with the groomer, Pam. She completely shaved my goldendoodle down to the skin, despite the fact that he has tighter curls and other groomers in the past nine years have always been able to salvage something—whether it was the head, ears, or tail. Pam didn’t even try. The work felt extremely lazy, rushed, and careless. Not only was the grooming job unacceptable, but Pam herself was rude, unprofessional, and showed zero empathy. For many of us, our pets are our children, and a little reassurance or effort goes a long way. Instead, she was monotone, dismissive, and clearly unwilling to put in any extra work to make the cut look decent. I genuinely could not even recognize my dog when I picked him up. I highly recommend going elsewhere for grooming. This experience was incredibly disappointing and should not happen to anyone else’s pet.

  Never met the groomer and my dog had what may have been scabs or really bad flakes in her hair. I asked for medicated shampoo to be used but the day after I got her home she already smelled bad. Just expected more for the price.

  Olivia did groom Trinity as requested, but unfortunately, she did not inform me that a portion of her ear was cut. This is the reason for the one-star rating. I will not be utilizing Olivia's services in the future.
