stopped by petco to just pick up a thing of algae/pleco wafers and some betta food because PSP my usual pet store was closed and i just got back from greenville, i tried to bring a betta to their attention and they told me he was just sleeping. but he was barely swimming fins were nicked and could see he was visibly sick or something was wrong. they really need to actually make sure their animal care gets done properly. when i shop at Pet Supplies Plus, they have active workers that will get a manager and help the animal as soon as it’s noticed. and i i know they do 3 checks on their animals a day i shop in there about 2-4 a week because i get my crickets, reptiles, and ect from PSP and never have seen anything like what I saw and heard and be dismeeded like k did at petco. THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR ANIMALS, and their grooming part is almost if not just as messed up as animal care.

It was fine. My selection choice was
Limited. My cat is a picky eater and they have limited stock on one brand and no longer carry the other brand I was looking for

I had a frustrating experience with Petco grooming, I have been trying to just get my puppies nails clipped for about a week now. The first time I drove over to Petco (about 15 minutes) they had spontaneously closed grooming early that day with no apparent reason or notice online, the second time they stated that walk ins were not being accepted that day and referred me to the notice posted on the desk. While I understand being short staffed and unable to provide certain services at times, there was no notice online or statement regarding this change. A note on the desk is not helpful when you have already taken time out of your day to get your dog packed up and drive over to the store. I was not needing a bath, grooming, or any other service except for nail trimming. This ultimately has caused me to waste a lot of time and energy, I will be going somewhere else for future needs.

I had a young lady named Ananka, I’m not sure if I spelled her name correctly, but she was so friendly and helpful. My dog was eating Merrick Backcountry dog food and the last bag we got delivered on Aug 22nd and had just opened it and my dog wouldn’t eat it at all. I explained this to Ananka and she asked me questions about my dog and helped me pick a new brand of dog food and when I got home my dog is eating again so thanks for the great help. What a great employee!!!
