Today, since it was only for vaccinations and nail trimming, I took them to the Market Common location. My dogs have never had any health problems. I had the worst experience of my life. Upon arriving, there were dog biscuits, I gave one to each of them, they ate them, played, the assistant came over, they played with him. I left them there playing for an hour and 15 minutes. Then he called asking if they should give the vaccine, if she had already received a certain vaccine before. I said yes, and that's why she was there. An hour and 30 minutes after I had left them there, they called saying that one of my dogs had vomited, choked on the biscuit, and would need medication and oxygen, and possibly intubation. I went back and they wanted to charge me more than two hundred dollars for the sedation and medication, even though this happened under their care. I already pay almost $300 in insurance for both dogs, and they said I would have to take her to another hospital to possibly receive oxygen and they wouldn't pay for the care. I said that my lawyer would handle it. I went to the hospital in Surfside and the doctor told me that it could be a reaction to the vaccine that they said she hadn't received, or that she had vomited the biscuit and choked on the vomit, and they didn't see when it happened. And believe it or not, all the time they were there, they weren't under supervision, since when they saw her, she was already turning blue. I almost lost my dog because of unqualified people! I always take them to North Myrtle Beach, but I never thought I would go through this on a simple visit for vaccinations and nail trimming, which they didn't even do in over an hour. I can't even cancel the police report because otherwise I'll have to pay an absurd amount, the lawyer will really have to sort this out. To make matters worse, my dog is still at risk of dying, and I tried to cancel this policy just now, but I can't, which is absurd. How can I continue with your services if I wasn't treated well and my dog is still at risk of dying?

Thank you Dr. Chapman & staff for taking care of my baby Rocket yesterday. Both CSCs checked him in quickly & got me into a room where a tech came in to come up with a treatment plan. I was a walkin & this was at 7am in the morning. Thankful they were able to fit us in. I had to rush Rocket to the emergency vet Sunday night & take him to Banfield for continued care Monday due to a 2nd urinary blockage (first one was in November of 2024). Dr. Chapman was awesome & answered all my questions. I will only trust her with my baby from now on. Can't thank ya'll enough!
