- EWEmily W1 day ago1.0I am never one to write reviews but I took my dog for a grooming appointment with Chrisy C. (my dog has been getting his haircut for his whole life by pet stores, he’s 14). Within 10-15 minutes after dropping him off I got a call that they were unable to trim his nails because he was “too on edge” and they would not do the rest of the grooming and I had to come pick him up. Never offered to reschedule, did not offer any of the other services (he was coming in for a bath, grooming, ear cleaning, and nail trimming). Upon arriving to pick him up Chrisy barely said anything, seemed very rude throughout the whole interaction. I will definitely not be taking him to this location ever again, workers seemed miserable and barely have have personality to interact with humans let alone dogs.

- DDDRTNov 16, 20251.0I have never written a poor review but I think this warrants an exception. I bought dog food that upon opening was filled with bugs and maggots. I called and the heath diet person at Petco couldn’t be nicer and said for me to come and get a different type of food at no charge. When I returned and picked out the brand recommended by the employee, the manager said that she had to charge me for the difference and was curt and not very nice about it. Not once did she apologize for the inconvenience, nor for the risk that the infected food could have made my dog sick (when she opened the bag the bugs were crawling on the countertop). I am very surprised that the manager didn’t eat the $9 based on the situation and the fact that her employee told me they would give me a free exchange on the phone. I understand that mistakes can be made, but the manager exhibited extremely bad business judgment here and had a poor attitude overall. It also makes me wonder about their inventory management . Needless to say, I will never be going back here again.
