I had an appointment with one of their vets today.
I realized what the problem was when I got home. They were just short of rude in one sense. They asked me what it was like when my Baby had IBS problems. Because they cut me off they didn't get the full description. I said that he was throwing up everything. Yes he threw up everything the first day of each episode. The episode would last three or four days. He would be a little less sick each day. His bowel movements would be very soft but not diarrhea. On the third or fourth day I would try to engage him in play to get him moving again and maybe get rid of any of the bad stuff left in his system.
I'm thinking that she only heard he's throwing up everything, hence he must be very sick, like cancer. I really don't think so.
I just went in for a possible ear infection.
I'm a senior. I'm on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
They then started throwing numbers at me like over $1,000 in labs and testing.
Then they threw their Wellness plan at me with $145 down then $75 per month.
I left feeling like their company cares about nothing except the money.
I thought your $71.95 office visit fee was indictive of a pet company that was compassionate as well as passionate about animals.
Now I know it was just bait.

They have such great pet docs and such a positive attitude here! I had a far inferior vet for far too long. Have been a customer now for 2 years and they have a great system, affordable plans and amazing care standard.

Danielle was beyond helpful with a situation with my dog! It was the most stressful experience because this was the first time that my pet had to have a surgery and she took so much time explaining every step of the process and I can tell she has a genuine passion for all of the pets that she helps. I had some concerns during his recovery and she was able to find a solution that made me feel extremely heard.

The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. When my dog had an unexpected worsening of a health issue, they were able to work him into their schedule right away, which meant so much to us. Dr. DeFord is amazing—she truly takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer all of our questions. I highly recommend her!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
