- NMNikki McNabb1 day ago1.0If I could give a 0 star, I would. It’s taken me 2.5 years to write this review because I was so devastated at how they destroyed my dog’s coat. He is a double coated cocker spaniel/lab mix. I took him to get groomed May 2023. When I dropped him off, I explained I wanted a short trim (NOT SHAVED). And showed a picture of what he usually gets done. When I picked him up 8 hours later, he was shaved to the skin. 1) double coats should NOT be shaved 2) no dog should be shaved unless explicitly stated they want to be shaved. When I called them about this (because I was so distraught when I picked him up I couldn’t even form a sentence) they told me “when people ask for it short they usually mean shaved”. WHAT?! Don’t you think you might want to clarify that BEFORE you shave someone’s dog. In no world would I EVER want my dog shaved. I have told countless people to stay away from this grooming service. And I will continue to do so. I have attached pictures of before the grooming and after. My dog has just now grown all of his fur back, over 2.5 years later. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROOMER UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR DOG’S FUR DESTROYED
