My dog was a little skeptical about being picked up and put on the table. But after a very light sedation he was fine. Great job guys.

This was my second visit: a normal drop off to get some routine vaccine boosters for a 5lb KITTEN (this is important later). I come back to pick her up, and get charged a weird price that was not what I was told at the drop off (off by about $30 and should’ve been the first red flag). Then vet comes and gives me my cat and the receptionist gives me a bunch of packets and a cup “for a pee sample”. The vet looks at her and says that the cup wasn’t for me and that my cat didn’t need it. The receptionist then argues that the cup was on my records and is in fact for me (what a way to instill trust in the customers by arguing in front of the line of people waiting to pick up pets). Then if that wasn’t bad enough, I get my crate from the vet, and the cat isn’t mine. This cat is fully grown and about 13lbs. I tell the vet and she quickly takes it from me and gives me my correct cat. Then she hands me a rabies tag. (Mind you, she told me that my cat was too small and too young to receive it and now I’m getting a tag?) so I ask about it, bc at this point it’s clear that they mixed my kitten up with another cat and I don’t even know if they know what she got or didn’t get at this point, and was told that yes she did receive her rabies today (that wasn’t on my list of things she needed done so god knows what else she had done to her). Finally, I go to look at her records for the day to see what all was done and what else is left since now I’m being told she needed a “three week follow up” but today was her “three week follow up”?? Alas, the records show she got more than a few vaccines (all at once, a small barely 5lb cat) which is incredibly dangerous since any vaccine can have bad outcomes but you NEVER want to overload a small animal with multiple. This appointment was at 9:45am today, ended at 2:15pm (for three plus shots… wow) and she’s still lethargic, not wanting to play, not wanting to eat, not interested in water, and not meowing like she normally does. I am beyond confused, hurt, and concerned and I will not ever be coming back to this office. I would be boycotting petsmart altogether but if you try to leave their wellness plan even after they do all this, they’ll be charging you hundreds of dollars to leave. So hopefully there is a single Banfield out here that won’t try to kill my animal.
