Our dog suffered there from 8:30 am still 5;#0 pm. He was supposed to be first on for a tooth cleaning. An assistant called at 2:00 saying he needed 7 teeth pulled. Said 3 were real bad the other 4 not but could be real bad in a few months. At 5;30 the assistant came out and I demanded to speak with the Doctor. She brought Scooter out after I paid the $2000, where at the beginning of the day it was supposed to be $1000. They charges 110 for each toot. I asked the Doctor about the four not so bad and she said they did not have any problems yet but maybe down the road. I said the assistant said different. I told her if I got to talk to her I would not have had the other 4 extracted. I asked for water for my dog twice and the Doctor refused saying he had intravenous. Zero compassion and just a money making factory.

Dr. Miller and the staff are great and patient with my fur baby. He needs "special" care and they do what they can to accommodate him.

For starters I booked my appointment a month in advance as it’s hard to get time off from work this time of year for them to call and tell me I had to reschedule because the dr had surgery that day, which that’s fine so they booked me for 1:30 pm that same day instead of 4:30 and while I was at work called to tell me the dr I got rescheduled for was leaving early and that if I didn’t come in by 12 that I’d have to reschedule again (which should’ve been my first red flag at the constant rescheduling considering I already confirmed numerous times for 1:30) so I get there for 12 and they were a little behind which is fine but tell me why by time the examination was over, it was roughly 1:30 (time of the original rescheduled appointment) the said doctor who was leaving early was sitting having social hour while they took lunch (like yeah everyone deserves a break but the fact they said they’re leaving early but can sit around is frustrating.. PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS DO NOT GO HERE

I brought a new dog to my pack to the Vetco hospital because we were worried about her being heartworm positive or having a positive fecal so we first told the nurse Shante’ what was going on and she was very understanding and help full on explain all procedures and that the ear exam would be a good idea to see what was going on with her ears! So happy we did that because she was positive for an ear infection. Then Doctor Delvecchro came in and explained everything and the dogs body condition and what were some of our outcomes if they were positive and how our life at home would be if she had a positive fecal! After tests were done she was negative for heartworm and fecal! Just ear infection and I will definitely recommend Smithfield RI Petco hospital and clinic! Kathleen at the Clinic has helped me multiple times getting appointments and each of my small Poms all their shots with no reactions and I’m so happy to visit this location with my dogs!
