Horrible experience. Booked appointment for vaccination with the mobile lab, waited for over half an hour. No one showed, or contacted me. Also, no way to let them know I was there and waiting. Very poor system for this service. I am very disappointed in the lack of personal contact, and no explanation for no show.

Everyone that works here (specifically the Vetco) have been great to my new kitten at all his first appointments. Thank you to the Vetco team! ❤️ As a whole, I wish Petco would stop selling Bettas and live animals that are not rescue. I signed up for Vital Care Premier to get discounts off food/care for my new kitten, but honestly every time I go in there and see the half dead animals I wish I chose somewhere else. I know i’m not the only one who feels this way.

on january 7th my dog koby went to the vet for a wellness check and a shot everything was ok . he was old and achey but he was healthy. fast forward one week on january 15th took kobi and my other dog to the petco in the smithfield store for a nail cut and buff. koby my 82lb 12 yr old lab mix was first. informed the girl he had arthritis. after his nails were cut she walked around the back of the table. i saw him slip and slide backwards off the table. i ran in there unhooked the strap around his neck. the strap around his abdomen snapped when he fell to the floor. i took him outside he was limping on his right leg. took him to the trail to walk the following day he threw up yellow bile . a few more days he seemed to start losing his appetite. then i noticed he was leaking urine. he lost control of his bladder so i called the vet brought him in on january 29th .i had to put him down. the vet said the fall most likely contributed to his condition. he couldve had nerve damage. he was never the same after that fall. im sure if he hadnt fallen off that table he would have still been walking the trail with me and not crossing the rainbow bridge. i lost my buddy. i wont be bringing my other dog back there . i hear horror stories like this all the time.
