  The Providence store is a mess. The entry way is filthy, with trash piled on the floor & carpet is covered with dog/cat hair and has a huge black stain - looks like it’s never been cleaned. Merchandise is stacked on carts around and next to the aisles and in the walkways so it’s difficult to maneuver. It’s been this way for at least a month since I just moved here. Thank god for Amazon so hopefully I won’t have to go back.

  Hey guys, just want to warn dogs parents about Petco. Went to pick up my dog, after it got groomed, and right when he got home, he drank 3 full bowls, full of water. I understand that they are NOT obligated to feed, play, and everything else… BUT FOR REAL? FREAKING WATER? They should know better that once a dog is there for 1, 2, 3 or more hours, PLEASE provide water to them! It made me wonder about PetCo. I don’t recommend!

  I brought my two cats here for years and they somehow lost one of my cats records. I called trying to get the records for an adoption center that I was trying to adopt a kitten from. Now I’m not sure if I’ll be able to adopt because they somehow lost records and basically made me feel like I was the issue when I added my cat and his sibling at the exact time! The store itself is amazing when it comes to supplies but this is just insane

  Excellent selection and very nice people. Unfortunately, they’re always a bit understaffed and I have to wait at the register. It’s otherwise very reliable and convenient.

  Beware! If they offer you the vital care premier you will have to pay for a whole year, you won’t be able to cancel it until the year is up, when I went there and it was offered to me they never explained that to me, now that I’m trying to cancel i can’t
