I went in recently for a promo email that I received - spend $50+ and get a free toy. No one knew what it was, a supervisor said oh I have something about that in the office but didn’t know what the free item was supposed to be. Offered for me to come back later with my receipt but wasn’t going to make a special trip.

- CRCollectable RestorationsFeb 12, 20261.0I was scheduling my dog for her second dog grooming appointment and made the mistake of mentioning that my dog had had surgery about a month and a half ago and a small cancerous tumor was removed she went back for her follow-up visit and was cleared with flying colors to resume all of her regular activities the groomer promptly told me they could not groom a dog who had cancer unless the vet cleared the dog so I got a letter from my vet stating that my dog was absolutely okay to be groomed and that she had the follow-up visit and everything was good once I had that I was told I needed to have blood work done on my dog to prove she was 100% cancer-free my vet told me that would be malpractice for any doctor or veterinarian because it is necessary to monitor a patient for at least a year with positive blood results to make such a declaration so then I was told my dog just couldn't get groomed there anymore both myself and the staff at the veterinary clinic thought this was completely absurd and blown out of proportion on the Groomer's part I will never bring my dog or any animal to this Petco for any reason they have no ability to use logic in a situation like this my vet further mentioned it would be fully understandable had she went through something like heart surgery but removing a pistachio size tumor does not make my dog unable to be groomed for the rest of her life do what you will with that information when deciding whether or not you want to deal with the trouble to get your dog groomed at this Petco. My only advice is don't mention anything about your dog's health ironically enough my closest dog groomer is All about pets they have been my regular groomer for years. It was a scheduling issue that landed me at this godforsaken Petco I will stick with my independently-owned pet shop from now on my lesson has been learned! I wouldn't recommend the trouble of dealing of this Petco location
