We took our dog in for a bath for Christmas and gave very clear instructions. When my brother picked him up and took a picture, our dog looked exactly the same as when we dropped him off. We went back to complain and the manager was nice and offered a new haircut. Unfortunately, the second visit was just as bad. Two of the groomers were extremely rude, had a terrible attitude, and did not listen to the instructions even though I explained everything politely. After redoing the cut, they tried to charge extra, which makes no sense since we paid for a full haircut. They claimed it was only a face trim, which was not true. We will not be coming back. The grooming staff is unprofessional and refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes.

After seeing this on the receipt I asked the cashier (Andrew) if they price matched themselves online since I figured Petco’s prices would automatically be consistent. He replied that I would have had to shown him before the transaction in a highly annoyed tone. I then asked if we could re-run the transaction because it was a significant price discrepancy to which he said no because there were people in line. I shop at Petco specifically because the customer service. 15+ years I have shopped here but if this is how customer service is going down moving forward I’ll be taking my business to Amazon where every single product is cheaper. Super deceptive business practice plus terrible customer service is a recipe to lose loyal customers.
