I will not to to this pet ever again. I went there to purchase items for betta fish and the sales associate was rude and dismissive. I ended up just walking out.

The cashier that worked there was very helpful. But they didn't have the right type of waterproof boots for my dogs leg. We need a full boot to go to her knee to cover her soft cast when we take her out in the rain or snow

I gave petco corporate 2 weeks to resolve this issue and I've been very patient. The day after christmas, my family of 4 stopped in at this location to purchase some fish and a hamster for our 7 and 9 year old. We were assisted by Jennifer, and she had an attitude from the very beginning. She tried to upsell us a 20 gallon tank for 2 fish. Then she told my husband and 7 year old autistic son that due to us having a smaller tank, the fish might die and they would not offer an exchange. After having the 2 fish we selected, Jennifer then (with attitude in hand) came to get us our hamster for our 9 year old daughter. She asked the type of cage and size as she was opening the cage to box up the hamster. She then also tried to AGAIN get us to purchase a 20 gallon cage for our hamster. She looked at my daughter and I and said, "well if you keep the hamster in that type of cage, it might get trapped between the metal grates and DIE. she said that to a 9 year old. I told her that was inappropriate to say to my daughter. Then she closed up the cage and refused the sale because I said that. Both of my kids began to cry and she just walked away. As we were going to pay for our fish we saw her leaving. So my assumption is she wanted to leave and we were preventing her from that. I asked for her manager and she said she WAS the manager. Literally awful heartless people here. I did call the number provided. I did file a complaint but nothing has been done. Now I'm hoping to let others know of the employees they let run this store.
