They are understaffed and their scheduling team is a mess - They canceled my dogs appointment less than an hour before it started. I have never had a place have open appointments online and cancel on me. Worst Banfield I have ever had the displeasure of working with.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. Absolutely awful. Our dog has had numerous terrible experiences here and the reason we keep returning is because of this so-called “plan” That will help you save money, but you still end up having to pay money every single visit. And when she just got her spay done there was multiple complications THAT THEY COULDN’T HANDLE , and we were then told to take her to ER to be monitored overnight for mass amount of blood loss again ON THEIR END because again “ they couldn’t handle” getting it back to normal, how do you even do a procedure if you can’t possibly fix the worst outcome. And we had to pay all ER costs ( over 2k ) so they basically said you guys go figure it out. This place is only good for ear infections and shots.

I had a terrible experience here twice. The nursing staff is terribly unprofessional and rude. I brought my dog for an annual, comprehensive exam. A woman entered the exam room, and didn't greet me or introduce herself. She simply sat down and started asking questions with an attitude. After her intake, which was short-lived and rude, she took my dog out of the room to receive his care. Although my dog has never been aggressive, and has no documented issues with receiving care at the vet, she reports she was unable to get any part of the visit done. She came back into the room with another lady, and was holding a cone. She says "you need to put this on your dog." The other lady, who was actually quite pleasant and kind, explained what transpired in the back. The second lady told me that I could see the veterinarian in a little bit for further explanation. As a result, I asked who were they? I asked the latter because up until this point, no one has introduced themselves. They explained that they were both nurses. The doctor came shortly after and explained what my next steps would be. At checkout, the initial, unprofessional nurse continued her passive aggressiveness. As a result, I decided to make an appointment at another Banfield. Of note, I am not a veterinarian and I have no background in veterinary care. However, I do love my dog. I think it is definitely warranted that the proper measures are taken to ensure the safety of those taking care of my dog. I am in no way offended that they could not do the exam. However, I do think it is important to be kind and professional to the pet owners when they come into the office. Working with animals does not excuse/exclude you from interacting with humans. At the bare minimum, we deserve respect. I think this one particular nurse treated me like I was an inconvenience throughout the visit. If I asked questions, she was short and rude. At checkout, my chart was left open on another computer, so they were unable to access the chart to check me out. She goes up and down grumbling and mumbling about how annoying this situation was. If you want to be treated like an individual and if you want your pet to be treated kindly, I would not come to this Banfield. My experience with other Banfield hospitals is drastically different. Although this hospital is 15 min from my house, I consider it worth it to travel to NJ to receive respectful care.
