If I could give 0 stars, I would in a second. I made an appointment online (same as last year, when this also happened) for my SICK cat where I described the illness & urgency for same-day visit that was AVAILABLE ON WEBSITE. I go back to work & come back to a cancelled appointment. I tried calling twice, with an HOUR IN BETWEEN. I left a voicemail the first time stating it was an emergency (crying between sentences) & please call me back. Hour later, I tried again & SAME THING! At this point, I scheduled at a CLASS "A" VET CLINIC: FORT WASHINGTON VET HOSPITAL. This is where they informed me that the best option for the sake of my 16 year old diabetic cat was to put her down. You can imagine my devastation. But it gets better, THEY NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALL for the rest of the day. Then, when they called back today, I answered the phone and said "TOO LATE. THANKS FOR NOTHING." So, if you need a vet you can actually count on, VETCO is NOT it. May the person who cancelled my appointment, the person who waited until today to return the call, & the company that thinks this is acceptable practice behavior, have the karma that is coming to them. Bless.

Dr Katz was able to see my cat right away for a sick visit. But, When receiving the discharge summary, nothing about why we were there or what we were doing was in the summary. All it said was ‘It was so good to see both you and Romero today! We always enjoy spending time with your furry family member. Today, you're going home with the following medications’ and listed the medication. We were there for possible tumor and took samples to send out. I didn’t go to med school, but more information should be on the summary.

I don’t ever usually write reviews but I felt like this needed to be said: I want to start by saying the front desk and support staff were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I arrived with my cat, Rich greeted me with kindness, professionalism, and amazing customer service. Brandy was also incredibly kind and welcoming, and Abbey was just as wonderful. Brandy and Abbey especially stood out to me because they were attentive, helpful, and comforting throughout the visit. Their presence made me feel more at ease, and I truly appreciated how caring they were toward both me and my cat. Up until that point, I really felt like my cat was in good hands. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely once Dr. Katz came in. I was honestly very disappointed by how uninterested, unempathetic, and careless he seemed. I explained my concerns and told him that my cat had snuck outside, and I was worried he may have caught something or had fleas or ticks. It did not feel like he performed a thorough checkup AT ALL. In fact, Abbey was the one who suggested using a comb to check for fleas, which honestly felt like something the doctor should have thought to do himself based on the concerns I raised. That moment really stood out to me because it made it seem like Abbey was more attentive to my cat’s needs than the actual doctor. I left feeling like my cat was barely examined and like I came in for no reason. What makes it even more disappointing is that, with a name like Dr. Katz , I expected someone who would show genuine care and concern for cats, but instead it felt like he did not care at all. Because of him, what started off as a five-star experience quickly turned into a one-star one. I would gladly come back for the other staff because they were truly amazing, but I would not want to see Dr. Katz again, and I would STRONGLY recommend requesting a different doctor. My cat is my baby and I want to make sure they are being seen by a Doctor who doesn’t seem lazy, uninterested and careless.
