  They made me wait for 40 minutes, they didn't check my dog, they only look at a picture that I sent and at the end they didn't even know what my dog had! But they were so quick when it was time to check out and to charge me for NOTHING!! They never even gave me time or space to ask any questions, they looked in such a hurry to leave. I would never recommend this place to anyone, bad service, bad doctors and the cleaning lady was rude too.

  If you enjoy being treated like an inconvenience, this is the place for you I brought my new puppy here full of excitement, hoping to find a vet who’d be patient and kind. Instead, I spent an impressively long time waiting for the doctor to make an appearance — only for him to walk in acting as though my puppy’s normal puppy behavior was a personal insult. Perhaps he was out of sorts due to the workload of other patients currently there, but I’m a ER nurse, so it couldn’t be more chaotic then what I deal with daily, but yet I’m professional and attentive with everyone. So no excuses, Dr Patala. When he offered me a $50-a-month heartworm medication and I said I’d prefer something more reasonable, his patience evaporated. He abruptly asked if I had any questions (I did) and then, before I could even open my mouth, walked out. Apparently, listening wasn’t part of the visit I paid for…and I thought my puppy had no training. To be fair, the rest of the staff was absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and clearly good with animals. It’s unfortunate their hard work is overshadowed by a veterinarian who seems more interested in selling products than providing care. Also I signed up for 24.99 a month membership and I honestly still have to find my puppy a vet, so that seems kind of silly. I left disappointed and honestly a little stunned. My puppy deserved a gentler introduction to vet care, and I deserved a doctor who could manage basic professionalism.

  Mis-diagnosed my cat as pregnant, even telling me they saw "maybe 2 kittens" on the ultrasound (she was a stray i had taken in). About 2 days later, she came down with a fever of 105. I called the front desk & was told "she might be going into labor" & "well, the diagnosis is that she's pregnant".. I insisted that there's no way the cat was pregnant, she was insanely skinny. I took her in & they changed their minds.. now, she was most likely sick with a life-threatening fever & uterus infection. They gave me a course of 2/3 day antibiotics for her & sent us home. The next day, her fever was still 105.. I called them & they said to "wait it out until next week". The cat was limp- I was fortunate enough to get her seen for emergency surgery at another vet office. Petco didn't offer to schedule a follow-up for her, didn't call to check in, nothing. It's almost as if I got the feeling she didn't matter much to them, being a stray- if she would die, that was just unfortunate. I spent so much money within less than a week at this office, just to get absolutely nowhere- just to end up elsewhere in emergency surgery with a cat that was mis-diagnosed as pregnant. Very, very disappointed. I do not recommend this office at all.
