  The store was well stocked and the staff was very helpful. Kal or Kai was extremely helpful and patient while my kids picked out their hermit crabs! I really appreciated it!

  I would like to point out many problems I have with this store. The reptiles and amphibians always appear to be underfed and in improper condition within the store setup. The tarantulas are sopping wet, and the species within may die within days of coming home with you. The fish are not healthy, and I have brought home fish with ick and parasites unknowingly. The cats for adoption aren't being treated for URI. The birds, oh boy, it breaks my heart. They're shoved in a corner of the store nobody visits. They aren't getting proper care, they are depressed and undersocialized. The poor betta fish that linger on the shelves are often suffering from bloat, fin rot, and lack of clean water and food. One employee, Connie, is terrible. She is incapable of properly caring for a lot of these animals, and she does not care. She will argue with you, and she will make a scene. I do not like coming to this store, mostly because I do not want to encounter Connie again. She gives dirty looks, and she frequently gives misinformation about the pets available. I also find that the stock of feeder insects are always months old, dead, and desiccated. I refuse to buy dead worms, so I have been shopping more at petsmart. I don't want to keep my petco membership, it isn't worth it anymore.

  The staff is so friendly and helpful at this Petco. We also utilize the vet within the store and like it. The perks program has saved me a lot on dog supplies and vet care.

  I was extremely disappointed in my visit at this store today. I was looking for fish supplies and I heard 3 employees conversing in front of the fish tanks which is fine I found my stuff and was going to get some fish and I was trying to see the fish and the employees stood in front of the fish tanks even after I said excuse me and they continued 2 talk to each other so I couldn't really see in the tanks and they still stood there and not one of them asked me if I needed help after I was walking up and down trying to look at the fish around them. I just felt ignored and I finally just said I guess im not getting any help so I put my stuff Iwas going to buy back on the shelf and never going back. I will find another store. Also I dont like the treatment of the betta fish. I'm not going to shop at any pet store that sells betta fish that they keep in cups its sad horrible and inhumane for those poor fish that im sure end up dying in those cups and thrown in the trash. I say if everyone would boycott stores that treat the bettas like that they would have to stop selling them. So disappointed in the store the employees and the treatment of the poor bettas. Never going there again.
