- MLmariangelica lunaJan 4, 20263.0This review is about the Vetco clinic. The animals need this express care! My dog needed treatment for a UTI, symptoms: not peeing for days. Normally my dog visits with Rebecca for exams, however the primary vet needed to prescribe an antibiotic. This did not happen because the front desk did not answer the phone, email the appointment schedule, or have Avon’s records present for the vet. I had to take her to the emergency vet for a simple antibiotic because of poor management. It cost an added $165 that I paid because Vetco is closed on Sundays. Avon’s records are up to date & I had the urine sample in the medical container provided by Vetco when I arrived.

In my short time of being in the store I heard a manager yell at two different employees and that frustrates me. These employees are clearly doing a wonderful job and they should be treated as such. Employees were so helpful and kind and one named Dylan was especially helpful despite seeming very busy. I hope upper management sees this review because they need to start treating their employees better!

- HHHaleighNov 28, 20251.0I went on Black Friday around 11am and there was absolutely no help anywhere to be seen. I walked the entire store twice and there was nobody. It says they have a reptile rally happening and I had questions about a snake I was interested in. There were 2 cashiers for a few customers but no one to help out on the floor to ask about animals or any questions in general. Update: I went to Pet Supplies Plus and there was one associate with multiple people shopping and not even 5 seconds was I in the store when I was greeted and asked if I needed anything to which I was helped immediately and had my questions answered. Again, 1 employee helped me faster at a smaller chain store than a big name pet store like Petco with multiple associates presumably working the floor.
