  I visited this location on 4/10/26. I went in thinking of my fish tank, and perhaps getting some Coreys. As I walked in I seen a cat for sale, which was sleeping on a bed and thought it was cute. I headed over to the fish Isle passing the hamsters birds and turtles. As I approached I seen and greeted Makenzie. She was doing some restocking some shelves and greeted me with a smile. I asked her about a piece of drift wood and she answered my questions with confidence. Later after asking about live plants, she went to the next Isle over and showed me plant food. I didn't get the drift wood or the Live plant and headed over and looked at the fish. I first spotted a tank with angel fish and really wanted to get one, but I only have a nine gallon tank that has Five danios, so I was only looking for Coreys to fill the tank. I then spotted the ones I wanted, Spotted( they may have another name, but these ones had spots on them) Coreys and knew those were the ones I wanted. I ended up not getting them though because my tank is still cycling and I need to wait another week for new fish. I did see a very cool looking silver beta that caught my eye. They had a lot of beautiful blue and red ones as well. Where I didn't purchase anything this time around. I will be back next week to get my Coreys.

  I usually like to shop around but this day I was in a rush and I found what I wanted quickly and even though it was kind of a complicated check out with points that I got the guy at the register was very competent and I was on my way in no time.

  I was told i could brin my betta if it died for a refund right, it hasnt been 2 days since i bought i and it died so i brought it back for a refund and they told me i could get a refund to just go to the back and get the water tested so thats ehat i did they told us why the fish died and i asked if i could get a refund or another fish and another lady said yes . So when i went to the front to buy bettas they told me i couldnt because i didnt have the right equipment even tho i was explaining that i did and they told me that i couldnt get a refund because ive brought a lot of dead fish MIND YOUU this is the first dead fish i bring in to get tested and get a refund 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 not even upset about the$25 im just mad she lied🤣🤣 karma gon get u tho|. “Our commitment to the health and wellness of pets is unwavering and a responsibility we take very seriously” ? Dosent look like your workers at petco take it very seriously. Almost all the betas containers are filled of poop and the water is turning different colors. Theres dead bettas floating in their containers, and guppies eating other dead guppies.
