I purchased a little yellow duck and an 8 ounce bag of Blue Buffalo jerky. At the treat bar, I bagged 2 cookie treats. When I got to the register, I asked the cashier if I could purchase just 2 and he said he wouldn't charge me. He said dogs eat free when they come to Petco. I thought that was a sweet gesture and I hope he doesn't get in trouble. Because of this experience, I will visit Petco more frequently. They are a mile from my home, but I just don't go. To my surprise, their prices aren't much different than Amazon. I'll bring Carl in for a treat over these cold winter months too!
