I was at the Quakertown location, I went to look for a jumping spider and they keep them in teeny tiny cups in an aquarium where they cant even see humans walk by. The cups are terribly tiny and they where as dry as a bone. The workers said they only feed them flightless fruit flies which is terribly unacceptable for the size of these spiders. Yet they have black fly larvae and tiny meal worms right in the store available along w crickets and other things as a food option. These 2 girls I bought where starving, scarfed down a meal worm almost immediately. Bought a cup of black fly larvae and a cup of meal worms and the black fly larvae where all dead and dried up and black. I didnt peek when I was there and I usually always do but really shouldn't have to. Went back next day to get a different cup in exchange and the only other 1 cup they had where also all dead. Every single one of them. I understand the workers are told policy and what to feed each pet but this policy is a $ saving joke. Very sad for these animals. I will not be purchasing anything from a petco again.
